Exeter Sunday 5 a side news - match day 8

The Exeter Sunday Football league was a spectacle to behold. With only two weeks left of the season, teams across the Premier League and Division 1 have been battling it out to finish their seasons on a high note.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, two games took centre stage, namely Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF vs. Robbenyourkids FC and Smeg United vs. Steau Needarest. Both matches were a thrilling display of grit, determination, and skill. Robbenyourkids FC narrowly edged out Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF with a nail-biting scoreline of 6-5, while Steau Needarest emerged victoriously over Smeg United with an 8-6 victory. The star of the division was Jayden Friend of Robbenyourkids FC, who banged in a total of 3 goals, securing the title of top scorer in the Premier League division this week.

DIVISION ONE  

Meanwhile, in Division 1, VorX United, Roddys Roundup, IDIDYAMOTHERWELL, Bikini Bottom Boys, Dusty Ballers and Stella Fellas FC all made their mark. VorX United secured a thrilling 9-6 win against Roddys Roundup, while Bikini Bottom Boys dominated over IDIDYAMOTHERWELL with a resounding 12-4 victory. Stella Fellas FC also clinched a narrow win over Dusty Ballers with a 7-6 scoreline. The top scorer in Division 1 was Rodrigo Kelly, who scored a remarkable 4 goals for Roddys Roundup.

The highlight of the week, however, was the fantastic performance by Ellis Christie from VorX United, who was named the most valued player of the week. His performance was a significant factor in VorX United's victory and demonstrated the skill and talent that makes the Exeter Sunday League so exciting to watch.

As the season draws to a close with just two weeks remaining, football enthusiasts are already eager for the next season. With such thrilling performances, the Exeter Sunday League is indeed a football league to keenly watch out for.
