Exeter Sunday 5 a side news - match day 8

As the suspense heightens for the players, Exeter Sunday Football League hit an explosive Week 8 amid thrilling matches in the Premier League and Division 1. With only two weeks left of the season, teams battled it out in a bid to secure their places in the tables.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Stella Fellas FC faced a nail-biting match against Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF, ending with a narrow 3-2 victory for the Kebab House. Meanwhile, leaders Tig Bitty Goth Girls edged out Scorinbread United in a high stakes 7-5 match, while Smeg United handed a crushing 11-2 defeat to Roddys Roundup.

Tig Bitty Goth Girls' Josh Bradley was the star of the night, netting a remarkable 5 goals to be named the top scorer in the Premier League division this week. His performance was nothing short of electric and has set a high bar for the remaining two weeks.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, a 19 goal thriller unfolded as Leave My Arcelona FC edged past IDIDYAMOTHERWELL with a narrow 10-9 victory. Robbenyourkids FC and Dusty Ballers had a close game with a 3-2 finish to Robben who return to the top of the table, while in yet another tight match Steau Needarest managed to clinch a 3-2 win against Bumblebais to boost their promotion hopes.

Harry England of Leave My Arcelona FC proved to be the standout performer in Division 1, firing an impressive 6 goals to be titled the top scorer in the division this week.

The most valued player of the week was awarded to Thomas Brown of Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF, whose performance was instrumental in his team's victory. As we approach the final weeks of the season, we look forward to what promises to be an intriguing finale.
