Exeter Sunday 5 a side news - match day 9

In an exciting week 9 of the Exeter Sunday 5-a-side football league, exhilarating matches took place in the Premier League and Division 1, which saw some exceptional performances from a number of teams and players.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League , Smeg United demonstrated an impressive show of skill and teamwork, securing a resounding 5-0 victory against Roddys Roundup. The star player for the Smeg United team, Kian O'Higgins, dominated the scoreboard, contributing 2 goals to the team's success. This outstanding performance marked O'Higgins as the highest scoring player in the Premier League division for the week.

DIVISION ONE

Switching to Division 1, the matches proved to be even more thrilling. Robbenyourkids FC defeated Dusty Ballers with a score of 6-1, while Steau Needarest scored a whopping 11 goals against Bumblebais, leaving them trailing with just 3. IDIDYAMOTHERWELL also showed off their prowess with a 10-3 win over Leave My Arcelona FC.

The top scorer for Division 1 was Conor Bickle from Steau Needarest, who accounted for a total of 8 goals. Bickle’s performance was a masterclass in offensive play, providing his team with a substantial advantage.

However, the week's most valued player was Alex Crosbie from Robbenyourkids FC, who put up a magnificent performance that proved instrumental in his team's triumph. Crosbie's exceptional display of skill, grit, and sportsmanship, earned him the honour of the most valued player this week.

These results have set the stage for an exciting next week of competition. The teams will surely be looking to build on their performances and we can expect some more thrilling football in the weeks to come.
