Exeter Sunday 5 a side news | WEEK 1

In the inaugural week of Exeter Sunday's football season, the Premier League and Division 1 teams were finally able to take to the field and showcase their talents.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Scorinbread United kicked off the season with a commanding 14-3 triumph over Cr4pFC. Bikini Bottom Boys narrowly secured a victory over 5 Guys 1 Cup FC, with a nail-biting final score of 8-7. Meanwhile, team Net Six And Chill demonstrated a stern defence and a fierce attack, prevailing 7-2 over Dusty Ballers.

For the Premier League division, the star of the week was W.K from 5 Guys 1 Cup FC. Despite the team's narrow loss, W.K made his mark with a stellar total of 5 goals, leading the division in scoring.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Multiple Scoregasms and Lads On Toure ended in a draw, with both teams scoring 5 goals each. In a more one-sided match, IDIDYAMOTHERWELL crushed Bonsai United with an impressive 10-2 victory.

George Penman of IDIDYAMOTHERWELL emerged as Division 1's top scorer, netting 4 goals, and will undoubtedly be a player to watch as the season progresses.

The coveted title of the Most Valued Player for the week was awarded to Ellis Williams from Net Six And Chill. Ellis's outstanding performance made a significant contribution to his team's success, proving he will be a crucial asset in the weeks to come.
