Exeter Sunday Football League kicked off its second week yesterday, offering fans exhilarating performances from the teams in the Premier League and Division 1.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, the competition was fierce. Steau Needarest emerged victorious against Scorinbread United, finishing with a score of 6-4. Conor Bickle from Steau Needarest shone exceptionally on the field, contributing four of the six goals to his team's tally. However, the game that took everyone's breath away was between Bikini Bottom Boys and Smeg United, which ended in a thrilling 7-6 victory for the former. The third match saw Dusty Ballers secure a confident win over IDIDYAMOTHERWELL, with a scoreline of 5-2.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Bonsai United and Mboomby UTD fought to a standstill at 5-5, neither team giving any quarter. The highest scoring match in this division, however, was a clear win for Queens Park Strangers 2 against Barely Athletic, ending at an impressive 11-5. Moreover, 5 Guys 1 Cup FC demonstrated a strong game against Multiple Scoregasms, walking away with a 5-2 victory. Jacob Box of 5 Guys 1 Cup FC stood out as the top scorer for Division 1, contributing four goals to his team's triumph.
The highlight of the week was Edward Mills from Dusty Ballers, who earned the title of 'Most Valued Player'. Mills' performance made a significant impact on the team's success and was a testament to his skill and dedication.
