Exeter Sunday 5 a side news | WEEK 2

Football enthusiasts were treated to a thrilling spectacle in the second week of the Exeter Sunday 5 a side Football League. The league, which is divided into the Premier League and Division 1, showcased a night of high-octane action, marked by high scores and impressive individual performances.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League Division, Net Six And Chill played against Scorinbread United, a match that ended in a 6-6 draw. Meanwhile, Bikini Bottom Boys continued their dominance with a 23-6 trashing of Cr4pFC. However, the match of the night was Dusty Ballers who blew away 5 Guys 1 Cup FC with a 21-5 scoreline. Coby Smith of Dusty Ballers stole the spotlight as he netted an impressive 10 goals, becoming the top scorer in the Premier League Division for week 2.


DIVISION ONE
Switching gears to Division 1, Bonsai United had a narrow loss to Steau Needarest, with the game ending 5-3 in favor of the latter. The division was on fire as IDIDYAMOTHERWELL trashed Multiple Scoregasms 14-6. The top scorer in this division was Jay Woodward who scored a total of 7 goals for IDIDYAMOTHERWELL.


Among all the excellent performances, one player stood out - Oliver Ibrahim of Steau Needarest, who was crowned as the most valued player of the week. His exceptional prowess on the field and outstanding contribution to his team's win against Bonsai United helped him secure this coveted title.


The Exeter Sunday League, thus, offered another exciting week of football, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next round of fixtures. With such a high level of competition already, it will be exciting to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
