Exeter Sunday 5 a side news | WEEK 7

In the latest week of Exeter Sunday's 5-a-side football league, spectators were treated to a feast of football. The seventh week of the season saw some thrilling matches and standout performances in both the Premier League and Division 1.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, an explosive match saw Scorinbread United thrash Steau Needarest with an impressive 8-1 victory. The game was dominated by the phenomenal performance of Jake Bayet, who was rightly named the Most Valued Player of the week. His skills and determination helped Scorinbread United maintain their formidable form this season.


Another high scoring game saw Bikini Bottom Boys beat Smeg United 8-6, with Billy Talbot shining as the top scorer. Talbot put a noteworthy tally of five goals to his name, leaving the spectators and opponents in awe of his striking prowess.


DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, 5 Guys 1 Cup FC demonstrated their scoring ability with a huge 11-2 victory over Multiple Scoregasms. B.S, the team's striker, showcased his talent by netting an impressive seven goals in the match, putting him in the spotlight as the top scorer of the division.


In another game, Queens Park Strangers 2 outclassed Barely Athletic with a 10-2 victory, while Mboomby UTD enjoyed an 11-5 win against Bonsai United.


The Exeter Sunday League proved to be a thrilling spectacle this week, with high-scoring matches and remarkable individual performances. As we head towards the eighth week, fans and players are eagerly anticipating more of the same action and drama that has been a hallmark of this season so far.
