In a thrilling night of football, the Exeter Sunday League reached week 8 of the season, and it was an action-packed evening filled with goals, standout performances, and high drama.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Smeg United claimed a stunning 10-6 victory over Steau Needarest in a goal filled encounter. The match was a showcase for the striking prowess of Conor Bickle, who bagged a whopping five goals for Steau Needarest, despite being on the losing side. His outstanding performance has secured him the top scorer spot in the Premier League division this week.
DIVISION ONE
Moving onto Division 1, 5 Guys 1 Cup FC put on a masterclass, defeating Barely Athletic 2-17 in a dominating display. Meanwhile, IDIDYAMOTHERWELL edged past Bikini Bottom Boys in a closely match, ending 6-4 in their favour.
Joe Burton, of 5 Guys 1 Cup FC, proved to be the star of the Division 1, scoring five goals to secure his place as the top scorer for the week. Notably, his exceptional performance earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
