HEAVITREE SOCIAL 5 A SIDE - SUNDAY LEAGUE

We saw plenty of action in our 8 team league of 5 a side in Heavitree this week as week 9 of the season is ticked off with Oldham Pathetic taking over top spot following a 5 - 0 points win due to Snorting Lisbon not being available. The Elite had a poor night by their standards, going down 11 - 4 to Scorinbread Utd to drop to 2nd in the table while the win puts Scorinbread up to 4th place. Touched by Gough were away and Exeter Gently failed to show up so it's a 0 - 0 draw for them and a reminder that we need teams to communicate with us early if they are missing a game. 7 days notice means we can waive the match fees and gives us a fair chance of organising a game for the opposition, this is really important to keep everyone playing and to keep the league running smoothly. 

Don't forget if you aren't yet in the league that now is a great time to register. In August, you can register for just £1 and we will even cover your 1st match fee so why not beat the September rush and jump on the waiting list and take the next available space to come up.
