RARE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN SUNDAY 5 A SIDE IN HEAVITREE

We played week two of our 5 a side season in Heavitree last night with some good games and some great goals scored. We were a team down with TBC confirming late on that they couldn't continue in the league unfortunately which gives a rare oppertunity for a team to jump straight into competitive football next week. There has often been a waiting list here but right now, you can sign up and start playing straight away. The sign up if just £15 which is half price for the rest of October.

All 7 teams got a game with Peakers Athletic taking a points win to kick off their seasons tally. Chevalier won a tight encounter with St Annes Wanderers thanks mostly to a hattrick from Jack Taylor while Scorinbread continued their strong start to the campaign with an 8 - 5 win over Steau Needarest. The battle of last seasons top two went the was of former champions Oldham Pathetic who played well against old rivals The Elite to secure the points 11 - 3 and remain top after two good wins and an amazing plus 25 goal difference. 

Well done to all our captains for getting your sides together, if we can get the space filled by next weekend that would be amazing. Huge thanks to Neil as always for doing a brilliant job on the whistle.
