Scorinbread Closing in on Title in Heavitree 5 a side

The 5 a side title in our Sunday Night league in Heavitree looks to be heading to Scorinbred after the leaders opened up a 3 point gap at the top with a solid 7 - 4 win over closest rivals Ryan Giggs Top 10 Hits. Scorinbread superior goal difference means that realistically they only need a point from their remaining two matches to take home the trophy in what has been an excellent season in Exeter. Third placed The Elite kept the heat on the top two with a 12 - 6 win over 2 In The Pink while former champions Oldham Pathetic sit 4th after beating Touched By Gough 8 - 2. Steau Needarest gave themselves a fair chance of finishing the season outside of the bottom two with a good 6 - 3 win against Divine Interception.
