SUNDAY NIGHT 5 A SIDE - HEAVITREE

It was match night 8 last night in our Sunday night 5 a side league played at Heavitree Social Club in Exeter and as always we had an entertaining evening of football. All 8 teams were there including our newest addition Tony Flair and our official Neil did a great job managing match night. Lets have a look at what happened.

Divine Interception won an absolute thriller at home to Scorinbread. The 3rd placed team staying in touch with the leaders with a dramatic 8 - 6 win. Leaders JP signs keep their noses clearly in front of the rest with a solid 10 - 2 win over Tony Blair while former champions Oldham Pathetic won well against St Annes 8 - 3. In another really tight game, Steau Needarest left the happoer of the two teams after thie 4 - 3 win against Go Gib or Go Home. The win keeps them in 4th place as we head a week closer towards the business end of the season.
