THE ELITE CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF HEAVITREE 5 A SIDE

Huge congratulations go to Marc and his team The Elite on securing the crown of 5 a side champions in our Sunday night league in Heavitree. The team successfully fended off the challenge from Oldham Pathetic who did brilliantly to push the champions all the way to the last round of games, well done to both teams for an excellent season. Scorinbread finished 3rd a further 4 points off the pace while Touched By Gough were just another 2 points back in 4th. Exeter Gently ended 5th and now bow out of the league, allowing an opening for a new side from the waiting list to step in for the new campaign. TBC finished strongly, only being beaten by a single goal in the final game against league runners up Oldham Pathetic in a brilliant match that ended 6 - 5. 

We head into the new season on Sunday with most of our teams ready to go again so hopefully it will be another exciting season in Heavitree, thank you to all our sides for their involvement this time round and of course to Neil our ref and supervisor for managing things so well throughout the season.
