MATLOCK 6 A SIDE TUESDAY LEAGUE - WEEKLY NEWS 16TH NOVEMBER

It was another good night of football in our Tuesday night 6-a-side league at the fantastic new 3G pitch at Highfields School in Matlock with all teams in attendance.

The fixtures on Tuesday saw some interesting games being played out - Queens Park Strangers are still undefeated in the league this season after their huge 12-0 victory against of one of our newer teams, WheelPlant FC who are still looking for their first win.

Murder on Zidane's Floor are still on QPS's tail after their important 5-1 win against 3rd placed Dads Army Miners Welfare and will be looking to take advantage of any slip up from the league leaders.

The late kickoff saw a tightly contested game between The Deadly Elements and 2 Girls 1 Schlupp which eventually ended 2-1 to The Deadly Elements.

However the game of the night saw an entertaining end-to-end game in which Stella FC edged out DDCC FC in a 3-2 win.

The game to look out for next week is the top of the table clash between Queens Park Strangers and Murder on Zidane's Floor with the latter needing a win to try stay in the title race!
