MATLOCK 6 A SIDE TUESDAY LEAGUE - WEEKLY NEWS 2ND NOVEMBER

It was a very entertaining night of football in our Tuesday night 6-a-side league at the state-of-the-art pitch at Highfields School in Matlock with all teams in attendance and some high scoring games!

Two teams are slowly pulling away at the top of the league with 3 wins and a draw against each other in their first 4 games. 

Dads Army Miners Welfare convincingly beat DDCC FC 5-0 but its the Queen Park Strangers who sit at the top of the table on goal difference after their 8-1 thrashing of The Deadly Elements in the late kickoff!

Elsewhere, Murder On Zidane's Floor and 2 Girls 1 Schlupp couldn't be separated in their game and in the league as they played out an end-to-end 3-3 draw with both teams on 5 points.

New team WheelPlant FC suffered a 6-2 defeat against Stella FC in their first game in the league but will be looking to kick on as they get used to our Matlock 6 a side league!
