CHATHAM 5 A SIDE MONDAY ROUND UP
Big thank you to Kelly for stepping in this week to supervise with Ash away and to all our referee's. Thank you to all our teams too, it was a good night of 5 a side football at Thinking Fitness. The season is approaching the final three weeks now with plenty to play for across the divisions. Here's a look at the results from last night:
PREMIER LEAGUE
Leaders AC Me Rollin had a difficult game this week as they took on second place and former champions Cats On Tour, Cats knew they need a win to go top however it was AC who looked the stronger on the night as they ran out 7-2 winners, Jake Beckett scoring a hat-trick. The win takes AC three points clear with just three games to play now. The other teams in the Prem picked up 5-0 points match wins due to the spaces in the division. It is disappointing that a couple of Prem teams pulled out but we will restructure for next season with the current teams and new ones coming in.
DIVISION ONE
Murder On Zidane's Floor took another giant leap towards the Div 1 title as they ran out comfortable 9-0 winners against Cadiz Nuts, Ryan Scott with another five goals to add to his collection. Beercelona leapfrogged Cantium's into second with a 4-2 win over them while Kent Driving School and Scottswood drew 2-2. Skinners move up to fourth with a 5-0 points match win.
DIVISION TWO
Woodbleak and Mac's continue to battle it out for the Div 1 title with Woodbleak currently leading the division by a point. Last night they picked up a 5-1 away win at Nigel Ben's XI while Mac's enjoyed a 3-1 home win against Gayson Mount. Get Your Scally Out aren't completely out of the promotion picture, they won 11-2 against Dirt Washers to sit three points outside the promotion places, Sam Lovey scoring five times. Finally Omar Opata scored all four as Workrate won 4-2 at MrsBrandtsBoys.
