Chatham Monday 5 a side news - match day 10

In the thrilling world of 5-a-side football, the 10th week of the Chatham Monday league saw some intense contests across all divisions.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Bligh A Side edged past Selecao in a high-scoring game that ended 8-6, with both sides showcasing their attacking prowess. Nigel Bens XI demonstrated their superior strategy and teamwork with a shock 4-1 win over leaders Pheasant Pluckers. Notably, Borstal Bums' hard-fought 6-4 victory over Mac's 3.0 to install themselves as the new leaders as they move a point ahead of Pluckers. Noah Stevens from Borstal Bums stole the show as he netted four goals, taking the top scorer title for the week in Division 1.

DIVISION TWO  

Division 2 saw leaders Beercelona deliver an 8-2 drubbing to Snus Warriors, marking a dominant performance as they edge towards the title. Unathletico Madrid fell to Skinners FC 3-1 as Skinners remain in second spot. Meanwhile, Holcombe Goons delivered a clinical performance, overwhelming Rapid Viagra 9-1. Jimmy Reeves from Holcombe Goons was the standout performer, bagging a whopping six goals to become the top scorer in Division 2. Gayson Mount and Scottswood shared the points after a 2-2 draw.

DIVISION THREE

Over in Division 3, Tekkerslovakia FC outclassed Barely Athletic 6-2, while leaders Workrate FC kept a clean sheet against Nutty Sauce FC, finishing the match 7-0. Cokane United defeated Maroon 5 with an 8-1 victory and Get Your Scally Out FC toppled HAVENT GOT A KALOU FC 7-1. Sam Lovey of Get Your Scally Out FC took the top scorer honours in Division 3 with his four-goal spree.

After ten weeks of action-packed football, the Chatham Monday league continues to deliver excitement, setting the stage for more thrilling encounters in the weeks to come.
