Chatham Monday 5 a side news - match day 12

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as week twelve of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League unfolded last night. As we close in on the season's end, with just two weeks to go, teams across the three divisions showcased their skills in tightly contested matches.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Borstal Bums suffered a narrow defeat 6-4 against the formidable Bligh A Side, while Pheasant Pluckers managed to scrape a 4-2 victory over Cadiz Nuts CF to go top. However, the standout match saw Mac's 3.0 best Nigel Bens XI in a high-scoring affair that ended 7-4 to Mac's 3.0. The standout performer was James Becconsall who netted an impressive four goals for Mac's 3.0 to top the goal-scoring charts for Division 1.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, leaders Beercelona edged out Gayson Mount in a 14-goal thriller that ended 8-6. Holcombe Goons secured a 7-5 victory against Unathletico Madrid while Rapid Viagra and Scottswood both won their respective games by a single goal against Snus Warriors and Skinners Fc. Matt Sadler, Beercelona's ace striker, was the star of Division 2 after scoring four goals, positioning himself as the division's top scorer this week.

DIVISION THREE  

In Division 3, leaders Workrate FC dominated HAVENT GOT A KALOU FC in a 13-0 rout, with Jude Jones netting an impressive six goals to become the top scorer. Cokane United also put on a commanding performance against Barely Athletic, securing a 12-3 victory. In a more evenly contested match, Get Your Scally Out FC just edged past Tekkerslovakia FC with a 4-3 victory.

The final two weeks promise more thrilling action as teams battle for their respective divisional titles. Stay tuned for next week's action-packed fixtures!
