Chatham Monday 5 a side news - match day 13

In the exciting 13th week of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, the teams from Divisions 1, 2, and 3 showcased their skills and strategies in action-packed matches.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Bligh A Side proved to be unstoppable, defeating Mac's 3.0 with a commanding score of 11-4. Josh Jackson was the standout player, netting an impressive 4 goals, taking his name to the top of the division's scorer list this week. Elsewhere in the division, Nigel Bens XI outclassed Young Boys CF with a 7-3 victory. Cadiz Nuts CF triumphed over Selecao with a score of 6-3 while Pheasant Pluckers pulled off a narrow win against Borstal Bums, ending the match at 6-5 to seal the Div 1 title in a thrilling game.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 demonstrated a high level of competitiveness. The match between leaders Beercelona and Scottswood ended in a 5-4 victory for Scottswood in a first loss of the season for the champions. Skinners FC cruised to a 7-2 win over Rapid Viagra. However, Holcombe Goons stole the show with a resounding 16-4 victory over Snus Warriors, with Jimmy Reeves scoring an outstanding 8 goals, making him the top scorer of the division this week. Unathletico Madrid suffered a 5-0 defeat against Gayson Mount in another match.

DIVISON THREE

In Division 3, Maroon 5 showed their dominance with an 11-0 rout of Barely Athletic. Alex Lawrenson was the star of the match, scoring 4 goals and topping the division's scorer list this week. Get Your Scally Out FC secured a 3-1 victory against new boys Bald Spot while Tekkerslovakia FC and HAVENT GOT A KALOU FC ended their match in a 4-4 draw. Finally, Workrate FC defeated Cokane United 4-1 in a top of the table clash that secured the title with a game to spare.

As the thrilling 5-a-side league rolls into its 14th and final week, teams are gearing up for a good finish as they prepare to go into next season. Stay tuned for more high-octane football from Thinking Fitness.
