CHATHAM MONDAY 5 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 4

The Chatham Monday Football League served up its fourth week of excitement, with teams across three divisions battling fiercely for those precious points. 

DIVISION ONE

The standout performance of the evening was from the Pheasant Pluckers in Division 1, who pulled off an astounding 10-2 victory over Mac's 3.0. Leading the charge for the Pluckers was top scorer Brandon Ball, netting an impressive seven goals contributing to the dominating performance.

In a highly competitive division, Bligh A Side slightly edged Cadiz Nuts CF in a thrilling 5-4 encounter, while Borstal Bums and Goals Aloud ended in a hard-fought 5-5 draw. This leaves 3 teams tied on 7 points at the top.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 also witnessed its fair share of drama, with Beercelona clinching a narrow 8-6 win over Holcombe Goons. Despite the loss, Holcombe's Jimmy Reeves distinguished himself by scoring four goals, earning the top scorer spot for the week in Division 2. In another high-scoring match, Gayson Mount triumphed over Rapid Viagra 9-3, adding more intrigue to the division standings. Unathletico Madrid shared the points after a 3-3 draw with Scottswood while Skinners remain second after a 6-3 away win at Snus Warriors.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Cokane United pulled off a close 6-5 win against Get Your Scally Out FC with Workrate FC notching a resounding 9-1 victory over Maroon 5 to rise to the top of the table. Jude Jones of Workrate FC was the standout performer, contributing three goals to help his team to victory. The match between Tekkerslovakia FC and Nutty Sauce FC ended in a goalless draw, demonstrating the defensive strength of both teams.

With only a few weeks into the season, the Chatham Monday Football League continues to deliver thrilling encounters and awe-inspiring performances. As the season presses on, we eagerly anticipate what the coming weeks will bring.
