Chatham Monday 5 a side news - match day 8

In the latest instalment of the Chatham Monday Football League, divisional matches ended in a thrilling night of football, recording a high number of goals across the three divisions.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Bligh A Side secured victory against leaders Pheasant Pluckers with a score of 5-3 while Borstal Bums dominated the field against Selecao, winning by a margin of 10-6 to move level on points with Pluckers. Cadiz Nuts CF achieved a respectable 5-2 win over Nigel Bens XI but the real standout game saw Goals Aloud losing to Mac's with an impressive 11-5 scoreline for the underdogs. Division 1's top scorer this week, Aaron Brookes of Mac's 3.0, had a spectacular night, finding the back of the net four times.

DIVISION TWO

Moving to Division 2, leaders Beercelona triumphed over Unathletico Madrid 4-2 while Gayson Mount secured a 6-3 victory against Snus Warriors. Holcombe Goons defeated Skinners FC with an 8-1 win while Rapid Viagra narrowly edged out Scottswood 3-2. Gayson Mount's Aaron Azzopardi put on a stellar performance, scoring five goals and becoming the division's top scorer this week.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, leaders Workrate FC beat Barely Athletic 6-3, Cokane United enjoyed a 7-2 win over Tekkerslovakia FC and HAVENT GOT A KALOU FC overpowered Nutty Sauce FC with an 8-2 victory. The final match of the night saw Get Your Scally Out FC defeat Maroon 5 with an identical scoreline of 8-2. Ben Regan of Workrate FC emerged as the top scorer with a hat-trick.

The Chatham Monday Football League continues to deliver a high level of competition, showcasing a remarkable display of talent. As we head into week 9, teams will be looking to build on their successes or seek redemption from this week's results. Stay tuned for more exciting football action.
