Chatham Monday 5 a side news - match day 9

The Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League saw a great display of talent and teamwork as week 9 of the season unfolded with high-energy matches across three divisions.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Cadiz Nuts CF triumphed over Mac's 3.0 with a score of 7-5, while Nigel Bens XI and Borstal Bums battled to a 6-6 draw. Pheasant Pluckers emerged victorious over Selecao with a 9-5 scoreline to pull a point clear at the top. This division saw Marc Diprose from Pheasant Pluckers play a remarkable game, scoring 4 goals, earning him the title of top scorer in Division 1 for the week.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 witnessed impressive performances with leaders Beercelona clinching a 4-2 victory over Rapid Viagra and Holcombe Goons outperforming Scottswood with a 6-3 win. Skinners FC narrowly beat Gayson Mount 2-1 and Unathletico Madrid dealt a heavy 9-0 loss to Snus Warriors. Jimmy Reeves of Holcombe Goons shone brightest, scoring three goals and securing his spot as this week’s top scorer in Division 2.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Get Your Scally Out FC secured a 7-3 win against Barely Athletic while HAVENT GOT A KALOU FC outscored Maroon 5 in a thrilling 8-3 game. Cokane United won 4-1 against Nutty Sauce FC and in a high-scoring game, leaders Workrate FC defeated Tekkerslovakia Fc 11-8. Luke Johnstone from HAVENT GOT A KALOU FC stood out with his superb performance, scoring 2 goals in his teams victory.

These results underlined the competitive spirit and passion of the teams, promising an exciting continuation of the season. We are eagerly looking forward to next week's matches, anticipating intense battles and outstanding performances on the field.
