Last night marked week 13 of the thrilling Chatham Monday 5 a side Football League, which saw some exhilarating matches and exceptional performances across all three divisions.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Holcombe Goons made a strong statement with a convincing 5-1 victory over Mo-Leicester City. In an intense showdown, Cream Eggs narrowly edged out Borstal Tigers in a high-scoring spectacle that ended 6-5 in favor of the former. Bligh A Side also secured a hard-fought victory over Stella Kings, with the final score reading 7-5. In a closely contested match, BangBros FC and Unathletico Madrid ended in a 2-2 draw. Division 1's top scorer for the evening was Andy Butt, who found the back of the net thrice for Borstal Tigers.
DIVISION TWO
The action was equally intense in Division 2. Pain In Diaz FC bested Club Tropicana Drinks FC with a score of 5-3, whereas Get Your Scally Out FC outperformed Cucks with an impressive 8-2 victory. Gayson Mount and Skinners FC ended their match in a 2-2 draw, while Cokane United narrowly lost to Twin City Fc in a 3-4 defeat. The star player for this division was Sam Lovey who scored three goals for Get Your Scally Out FC.
DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, Barely Athletic outplayed Puyol Pants Down resulting in a 3-1 victory. Lads On Toure took a massive win against Renegade Blues with an 8-2 scoreline. FC Bottlejobs also turned heads with a 7-3 triumph over Too Much Radio Not Enough Head. However, the highlight of the division was the stunning 10-1 victory of Workrate FC over Expected To Loose. Patrick Apoiy, who scored three goals for FC Bottlejobs, emerged as the top scorer for the division.
As we move forward in the league, we look forward to more thrilling matches and spectacular performances in the coming weeks. The teams are all set to battle it out in week 14, and fans eagerly await the next round of matches.
