Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 2

The Chatham Monday 5 a side Football league entered its exciting second week yesterday, with some thrilling results across all divisions.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cokane United showed their resilience beating The Bailiffs 4-1 in a commanding performance. Cream Eggs also asserted their dominance over 365 FC, with a 9-0 clean sweep. Cameron MacWilliam of the Cream Eggs emerged as the top scorer, netting three goals, adding to the excitement of the game. In a closely contested match, Pain In Diaz FC were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Workrate FC.


DIVISION TWO
Division 2 was also not short of drama. The Snottys edged a close contest against DWG FC, recording a 6-5 victory. Meanwhile, Real Sosobad demonstrated their prowess with a comprehensive 7-1 win over FC Bottlejobs. Stella Kings also triumphed over Skinners Fc in a high scoring game, with a 5-4 win. Lenny Gregory of Real Sosobad shone, scoring three goals and taking the accolade of top scorer of the division.


DIVISION THREE
Over in Division 3, Gayson Mount pulled off an impressive 5-2 victory against JUGG&WOOD. Expected To Loose beat Renegade Blues 4-1, while Club Tropicana Drinks FC demolished Barely Athletic with a stunning 13-1 victory. Black Eagles held firm against Too Much Radio Not Enough Head, recording a 2-0 win. The standout player of the division was Reece from Club Tropicana Drinks FC, who banged in a remarkable eight goals.


This week provided a wealth of thrilling football, and the Chatham Monday 5 a side Football league is shaping up to be an exciting season. With the top scorers from each division showing such exceptional form, the upcoming matches promise even more exhilarating action.
