Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 3

In a thrilling week of football, the Chatham Monday 5-a-side league gave spectators plenty to cheer about with high-scoring matches and standout performances across all three divisions.


DIVISION ONE
In the Division 1, Holcombe Goons emerged victorious against 365 FC with a score of 5-2, thanks in no small part to an impressive performance from top scorer Jimmy Reeves, who netted an impressive total of 5 goals. Elsewhere in the division, Bligh A Side narrowly edged out Workrate FC 6-5, while Cokane United and Pain In Diaz FC secured victories against Cream Eggs and The Bailiffs respectively.


DIVISION TWO
In the second division, Jordan Stewart of Real Sosobad led his team to a resounding 5-0 victory against Get Your Scally Out FC, scoring 2 of the 5 goals. Stella Kings also produced a dominant display, defeating DWG FC 6-0. The Snottys bested FC Bottlejobs 10-4, while Lads On Toure defeated Skinners FC 3-1.


DIVISION THREE
The third division proved to be the most lopsided of the lot, with high-scoring matches featuring prominently. Black Eagles trounced Renegade Blues 18-0, while Gayson Mount ran riot against Expected To Loose, scoring 11 goals to none. Too Much Radio Not Enough Head defeated Barely Athletic 8-1, while Club Tropicana Drinks FC rounded off the week's matches with a convincing 6-0 win over JUGG&WOOD. Top scorer Ed. netted an impressive 6 goals for Club Tropicana Drinks FC.


These results set the stage for an exciting remainder of the season, with several teams looking to consolidate their positions at the top of their respective divisions in the coming weeks. As always, the Chatham Monday 5-a-side league continues to be a showcase of local sporting talent.
