Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 5

Week 5 of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side football league saw nail-biting matches and high-scoring heroics across all three divisions. Fans were treated to a feast of football that showcased both exceptional teamwork and individual talent.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Borstal Tigers and Unathletico Madrid played out a closely contested 1-1 draw, leaving both teams on equal footing. The real highlight of Division 1 though was BangBros FC's commanding 9-2 victory over Bligh A Side. Key to this triumph was star player Aksels Grintals, who scored an impressive hat trick, cementing his position as the division's top scorer.

DIVISION TWO
Division 2 had its own share of excitement. Sans Hero and Club Tropicana Drinks FC ended their match in a 2-2 deadlock, while Pain In Diaz FC dismantled Skinners FC with a resounding 7-2 victory. The star of the show was Kai McNeill, whose incredible performance saw him net a total of 5 goals for Pain In Diaz FC, earning him the top scorer spot in this division.

DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, Renegade Blues narrowly lost to Barely Athletic in a 3-4 thriller. Puyol Pants Down triumphed over Too Much Radio Not Enough Head with a 4-2 victory. However, Too Much Radio's Thomas King managed to bag both of his team's goals, making him the top scorer in this division. FC Bottlejobs also made their mark, annihilating Expected To Loose with an 8-2 scoreline.

Across all divisions, the night was marked by fierce competition and sterling performances. As we approach the next week, it's clear that the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League is heating up, promising more exhilarating matches to come. Stay tuned!
