Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 5

In a thrilling week of football, the Chatham Monday league saw some fierce competition among the teams vying for victory in three divisions - Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the battle between Cream Eggs and Pain In Diaz FC ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving the spectators at the edge of their seats. Holcombe Goons’ impressive 6-2 win against The Bailiffs, was marked by a stellar performance from Tom Short. Short netted four goals, securing his spot as the week's top scorer in Division 1. In a lopsided match, Bligh A Side outclassed 365 FC with a 6-0 victory, demonstrating their strategic superiority on the field. The face-off between Workrate FC and Cokane United was a close call, with the latter pulling off a 3-2 triumph.

DIVISION TWO
Moving to Division 2, Lads On Toure outperformed DWG FC, clinching a 4-1 victory. The Snottys also emerged victorious with a 3-2 win against Real Sosobad. The highlight of Division 2 was Skinners Fc's dominant 7-1 victory against FC Bottlejobs, with Andrew Skinner's superb four-goal performance earning him the top scorer's title.

DIVISION THREE
Division 3 saw a commanding performance from Gayson Mount, as they overcame Too Much Radio Not Enough Head with a 4-0 scoreline. Black Eagles soared high against Club Tropicana Drinks FC, winning the match 5-1 with their player, Reece, earning top scorer accolades with three goals. Punjab UTD showed an unwavering spirit, defeating Renegade Blues 4-0. In a high-scoring match, JUGG&WOOD bested Expected To Loose 5-2.

As we move into the next week of the Chatham Monday league, the teams are gearing up to put their best foot forward, promising more adrenaline-fueled action and skillful play on the pitch.
