In the latest round of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side football league, we witnessed riveting action across all divisions. From seasoned strikers to resilient defenders, the games showcased a medley of talents and the competitive spirit that defines this beloved league.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cream Eggs overpowered Pain In Diaz FC with a convincing 4-2 win, while Holcombe Goons and Twin City FC battled it out to a 4-4 draw. A thrilling encounter saw BangBros FC emerge victorious over Bligh A Side with a scoreline of 5-3. The star of the division was BangBros FC's forward, Aksels Grintals, who netted an impressive goal to secure the top scorer position.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 was no less exciting. Get Your Scally Out FC edged out Stella Kings 7-5 in a high-scoring encounter, while Workrate FC registered a narrow 3-2 victory over Lads On Toure. In another intense face-off, Cokane United edged past Gayson Mount with a slender 3-2 win. Tommy Nye of Get Your Scally Out FC was the standout performer, netting a staggering 6 goals and claiming the top scorer title for the division.
DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, Real Sosobad produced a solid performance to beat Too Much Radio Not Enough Head 3-1. Renegade Blues overcame Barely Athletic 4-2, while FC Bottlejobs secured a tight 4-3 win over Expected To Loose. Jack Marsh of Real Sosobad proved to be the top gun of the division with his two-goal contribution.
