In an electrifying week 5 of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, teams from three divisions fiercely clashed on the pitch delivering a spectacle of skill and strategy for the fans.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Borstal Bums oversaw Get Your Scally Out FC with a decisive 7-3 victory. Unathletico Madrid gave a tough fight but fell short with a 9-7 defeat against Bligh A Side. The Pheasant Pluckers displayed their dominance against Pain In Diaz FC, concluding the match with a 7-2 scoreline. The star of the Division 1 games was clearly Josh Jackson of Bligh A Side, who managed to bag an impressive total of 5 goals, topping the scoring chart for the week.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw even more intense action. Cokane United proved too strong for FC Bottlejobs, securing a landslide 20-0 victory. Too Much Radio Not Enough Head triumphed over Masterbates United with a 5-2 win, while Lallanas In Pyjamas outdid Club Tropicana Drinks FC by a 9-4 margin. Harvey Claydon from Cokane United emerged as the top scorer of Division 2, matching Josh Jackson's feat with 5 goals.
DIVISION THREE
The excitement didn't stop at Division 3. Moretti outclassed Athletic Dildao in a high scoring match of 13-5. SORRY BRO cruised past Barely Athletic to a comfortable 8-2 win. One Last Dance outperformed Twin City Fc achieving a 14-4 victory, while Workrate FC steamrolled over Gayson Mount with a resounding 12-0 triumph. Andy Butt of One Last Dance shone bright as the top scorer, netting 4 goals.
