Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 7

Rolling into week 7 of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football league, the intensity was palpable as teams across Divisions 1, 2, and 3 fought to secure their standings.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cokane United clinched a decisive 6-0 victory over Cream Eggs, demonstrating their dominance on the field. The tense face-off between Bligh A Side and Workrate FC ended in a stalemate at 3-3, while Holcombe Goons ran rings around 365 FC with an impressive 11-4 score. Pain In Diaz FC showed no mercy with an 8-2 win over The Bailiffs. The standout player in Division 1 was unquestionably Tom Short who netted an impressive four goals for the Holcombe Goons.

DIVISION TWO
Meanwhile, Division 2 saw equally fierce competition. The Snottys fell to FC Bottlejobs in a high-scoring game, ending 7-5. Stella Kings stamped their authority with a 6-1 win over DWG FC. The closest match in the division was the nail-biting clash between Lads On Toure and Skinners FC, which ended with a narrow 5-4 win for the Lads. Leon Scott of The Snottys emerged as the top scorer with three goals to his name.

DIVISION THREE
Division 3 was not short of action either. Black Eagles soared high with a resounding 12-0 victory against Valhalla FC. Gayson Mount outperformed Expected To Loose with a 7-1 win, while Club Tropicana Drinks FC secured a 3-1 victory over JUGG&WOOD. Punjab UTD and Too Much Radio Not Enough Head ended on an even keel at 1-1. The star of Division 3 was Reece from Black Eagles who scored a whopping seven goals in one game.

As we move into week 8 of the Chatham Monday league, the teams, players and fans eagerly await the next round of this thrilling competition.
