Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 8

In the thrilling 8th week of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, we witnessed some extraordinary performances that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. The competition is heating up in all three divisions.

DIVISION ONE
In the Division 1 league, Borstal Bums put on a show with an impressive 11-7 victory over Bligh A Side. Noah Stevens stole the limelight by scoring a whopping five goals for Borstal Bums, making him the top scorer of the division. In other matches, Get Your Scally Out FC overpowered Holcombe Goons 5-1, while Unathletico Madrid and Pain In Diaz FC settled for a 3-3 draw. The match between 365 FC and Pheasant Pluckers ended with a 9-3 victory in favor of the Pluckers.

DIVISION TWO
Moving on to Division 2, Josh Carter of Lallanas In Pyjamas emerged as the top scorer, netting five goals in their 10-2 demolition of Masterbates United. Cokane United convincingly defeated Skinners FC 3-0. Team Rebels narrowly beat Club Tropicana Drinks FC 5-4, while FC Bottlejobs lost to Too Much Radio Not Enough Head 5-3.

DIVISION THREE
Lastly, in Division 3, One Last Dance displayed a stellar performance with Andy Butt scoring two goals in their 4-3 victory over Moretti, making him the top scorer of the division. The match between Twin City FC and SORRY BRO ended in a 6-6 draw, while Workrate FC overran Barely Athletic 8-1.

As the season progresses, it becomes clear that the competition is wide open with many games still to play. The action continues next week with more teams vying for the top spot in their respective divisions.
