Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 9

In a thrilling turn of events, Chatham Monday's 5 a side Football league witnessed an extravagant ninth week, with teams fighting tooth and nail for victory.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cokane United and Bligh A Side had a nail-biting match, ending in a stalemate with a 4-4 draw. However, the spotlight was stolen by Lallanas In Pyjamas with a staggering 12-9 win over Lordswood LYFC. Josh Carter of Lallanas In Pyjamas was the standout performer, scoring an impressive nine goals - emerging as the top scorer of the division.


DIVISION TWO
Division 2 was equally thrilling with One Last Dance triumphing over BangBros FC in an 8-3 win. Get Your Scally Out FC emerged victorious with a clean 4-0 win against Too Much Radio Not Enough Head. Club Tropicana Drinks FC's spirited performance resulted in a 7-2 win over Pain In Diaz FC. George Cook of Club Tropicana Drinks FC bagged the title of the top scorer in Division 2, putting three goals past the goalkeeper.


DIVISION THREE
Lastly, in Division 3, Twin City FC scored a commanding victory of 6-2 over Barely Athletic. However, SORRY BRO and FC Bottlejobs ended their encounter in a 3-3 draw. Gayson Mount stood tall with a 9-4 victory over HURCS. Meanwhile, Athletic Dildao narrowly escaped defeat from Workrate FC, securing a 5-4 win. Daniel Kaszynski of Gayson Mount took the accolades for the top scorer of Division 3, making a massive contribution of six goals.
