Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 9

In the midst of an exhilarating week nine of the Chatham Monday 5 a side Football League, sports enthusiasts were treated to a sensational display of skill, teamwork, and sheer competitive spirit across all three divisions.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Bligh A Side demonstrated their dominance on the field with a resounding 12-2 victory against Holcombe Goons. This was, in no small part, thanks to the exceptional prowess of Josh Jackson, who singlehandedly netted five goals for his team, securing his spot as the top scorer in Division 1. The other games in this division ended in a draw between Get Your Scally Out FC and Unathletico Madrid (2-2), and between Pain In Diaz FC and 365 FC (1-1). Borstal Bums also recorded a significant win against Pheasant Pluckers with a scoreline of 9-2.

DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, the talents of Lloydie Pennant shone brightly as he scored 5 goals for Cokane United in their 14-4 triumph over Masterbates United, emerging as the top scorer for this division. Club Tropicana Drinks FC edged out FC Bottlejobs in a high scoring game of 7-5, while Skinners Fc maintained a clean sheet against Too Much Radio Not Enough Head, winning 4-0. Lallanas In Pyjamas also secured a victory against Team Rebels with a score of 9-6.

DIVISION THREE
Division 3 saw a similar display of footballing prowess, with Tyler Vaughan netting 5 goals for Moretti in their 14-2 rout of Barely Athletic, earning him the title of top scorer for this division. In the other games, SORRY BRO overcame Gayson Mount with a scoreline of 8-1 and One Last Dance dominated Athletic Dildao, winning 9-1. Workrate FC, unfortunately, fell short to Twin City Fc, losing 7-1.

As the league moves into its tenth week, fans wait with bated breath to see if the top performers can maintain their momentum and if the underdogs can turn the tide in their favor. The Chatham Monday 5 a side Football League is proving to be a thrilling spectacle of local football talent.
