Kebab and Gylfi top their divisions at Chatham 5 a side

Match day 2 at our Chatham Monday 5 a side league from Holcombe Grammar School produced some fantastic matches in both divisions. We also welcomed Meat Heads FC to the league for their first game.

Reigning champions Maradona Kebab continued their good start to the season with a 6-1 win over Skinners FC, Dave and Mitchell both scoring twice for the champions. Macs have also started with a couple of wins as they beat Scottswood 5-3, captain Nathan Daniels with a hat-trick. Dylan Austin and Tom grabbed a couple of goals each as AC Me Rollin won 4-2 against Weinsteins Wanderers.

In Div 1 only Gylfi Pleasures have won their opening two games, last night they sealed a 4-2 win over Walderslade Wonderers, Joe Petty and Jordan Vidler both with braces. A Brandon Smith hat-trick saw new team Meat Heads FC win 7-5 against Woodbleak while Get Your Scally Out picked up a points match win with Crossley bizarrely paying for their fixture but not appearing, they have since apologised and will be back next week. Thank you to Gylfi for staying on to give Scally a game.
