Maradona Kebab seal Prem title at Chatham 5 a side

All teams were in attendance at our Chatham Monday 5 a side league at Holcombe Grammar School last night.

The Premier League title was all but wrapped up last week however Maradona Kebab sealed it with a points match win last night. The win see's them move 6 points clear at the top. Congratulations to them on their first Premier League title, they've had some tight matches throughout the season but have managed to win all 8 of them so far with 2 to go. Skinners FC moved into the runners up spot as they won 6-1 against Get Your Scally Out, Chris Skinner with a hat-trick. Scottswood won 5-2 against AC Me Rollin with Rob Kinzett banging a hat-trick too. 

The Div 1 title race tighten up last night as the leaders Weinsteins Wanderers were pegged back as they went down to a 4-2 defeat to second place Macs. Macs now move to within a point of the leaders with a couple of games to go. Third place Gylfi Pleasures aren't out of it either as they sit a further point behind Macs after a 6-0 win against Woodbleak, captain Luca Di Massa scoring a hat-trick. Finally Crossley returned this week to win an entertaining game with 6* Skills 9-4. There were hat-tricks for Mitch and Dextter Roberts for Crossley while George scored one for 6*.
