Kebab held as Skinners close gap at Chatham 5 a side

It was match day 6 down at Holcombe Grammar School as we approached the Christmas break at our Chatham Monday 6 a side league. Just one more match day before the 2 week break.

Maradona Kebab remain on course to be top at Christmas but they had a slight setback last night as AC Me Rollin performed well to take a point off the leaders, the game ending 2-2. Second place Skinners had a tough game themselves but held on for a 3-2 victory against Scottswood, Reece with a brace for the title challengers. The other game in the Prem saw Macs pick up a points match win after a game against Walderslade. It would be good if we could get the final spot filled in the league so any new teams get registered and start playing now. 

Div 1 is extremely tight with only two points separating the top 4 teams. A Brad Harris brace for the leaders Gylfi Pleasures wasn't quite enough to secure a win as they were held by Crossley to a 2-2 draw. Both Walderslade and Meat Heads took advantage of this by closing the gap to a point. Walderslade winning 5-1 against Woodbleak with Jack Cooper scoring a hat-trick while Meat Heads won 4-0 against Get Your Scally Out FC.
