Maradona Kebab win 4-3 again to stay top at Chatham 5 a side

Great to see all sides in attendance at our Chatham Monday 5 a side league at Holcombe Grammar School. All 11 teams turned out for match day 5 of the season, the halfway point. We do have a space in the league so any new teams looking to play can join now and start on Monday.

At the top of the Premier League Maradona Kebab continued their winning run but only after another hard fought 4-3 victory. They defeated Scally last week 4-3 and this week it was Scottswood with Dave hitting a brace for Kebab. Skinners picked up a points match win to stay two points behind while third place AC Me Rollin won 9-1 against Get Your Scally Out FC, Ben Carlile grabbing himself a hat-trick for Rollin.

Luke scored twice in Weinsteins Wanderers 5-0 win over 6* Skills which keeps them top and unbeaten in Div 1. Gylfi Pleasures leapfrogged Macs with a 5-1 victory over them, Joe Petty scoring a hat-trick for Gylfi. Finally Crossley picked up their second win of the season after defeating Woodbleak 3-1, Mitch with two and Matt with the other for Crossley.
