Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 10

In an electrifying final week of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side football league, teams in both Division 1 and 2 battled it out for the ultimate glory. After ten grueling weeks of intense competition, Medway 90 from Division 1 and Bonnies Men in Blue from Division 2 emerged victorious.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Medway 90 displayed a stunning performance, clinching the top spot with 17 points and an impressive eight wins. They narrowly edged their rivals, Deeney Fc, 2-1 in a nail-biting match. However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly Daniel Dickinson of Radar Raiders, who lit up the scoreboard with 3 goals, making him the top scorer for Division 1.

DIVISION TWO
On the other hand, the competition in the Division 2 was no less heated; the team to steal the spotlight was Bonnies Men in Blue. With a total of 19 points and an astonishing nine wins, they clearly dominated the division. Their victory over Pain In Diaz FC, ending 3-1, solidified their position at the summit of Division 2.

Harry Scott from Perrys Pastries made a significant contribution to his team's performance, netting 3 goals and earning the title of top scorer for Division 2. His hat trick in the 9-5 win over Warren Wood Wanderers was a masterclass in finishing.

As we wrap up this exhilarating season, we applaud all the teams for their exemplary performances. The spirit of football truly shone under the Chatham Thursday lights, as each team gave it their all. We congratulate Medway 90 and Bonnies Men in Blue for their outstanding performance and look forward to another thrilling season next year.
