Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 10

The Chatham Thursday 5-a-side football league came to a thrilling climax last night with week 10 marking the end of a spectacular season.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Net6 N Chill showcased their dominance on the field, securing a 4-1 victory over Rochester FC. Tyler Bell, with an impressive performance, scored a hat-trick, leading his team to a resounding victory. With this win, Net6 N Chill not only ended the season on a high note but also claimed the Division 1 title, accumulating a total of 20 points from their ten wins.


In the other matches of Division 1, Rice Spice and Kent Kings played a nail-biting game, with Kent Kings emerging victorious 5-4. Radar Raiders and Mac 4 locked in a stalemate as their match concluded with a 3-3 draw.


DIVISION TWO
Over in Division 2, Bendher Rovers FC asserted their supremacy with a stunning 10-2 victory over Perrys. Sam Prescott of Bendher Rovers FC etched his name in the hearts of fans with his stellar performance, earning him the accolade of the most valued player of the week.


Another exciting showdown came from Double Pogba And Koke and Saka Potatoes, with the former clinching a 9-4 win, courtesy of a scintillating performance by Louis Crompton, who netted four goals, topping the scorers chart in Division 2.


As the dust settled on the final week of the season, Bendher Rovers FC were crowned the champions of Division 2, boasting 18 points from their nine victories. The intensity of the matches and the skills of the players kept the spectators on the edge of their seats till the final whistle, proving once again why the Chatham Thursday league is a much-anticipated event in the local sports calendar.
