In the latest round of Chatham Thursday's 5-a-side Football League, teams showcased thrilling performances, with some unexpected results coming to the fore.
DIVISION ONE
In the highly competitive Division 1, the game between Perrys Pastries and Inter Yer Nan ended with a 1-1 draw. Both teams exhibited strong defence and an effective strategy, preventing the opposition from taking away the victory.
In another contest, Rochester Fc outplayed Lads On Toure with a scoreline of 7-3. Despite a spirited performance by Lads On Toure, Rochester FC's relentless attack ensured a comfortable win.
The most uneven match of the evening was between Radar Raiders and Medway 90, where the latter emerged as a dominant force, thrashing Radar Raiders with a scoreline of 8-1. Ross from Medway 90 took the limelight by scoring a hat-trick, making him the top scorer in Division 1.
DIVISION TWO
Meanwhile, in Division 2, FC Holcombe displayed a stellar performance against Valhalla Fc, closing the match at 8-3. Warren Wood Wanderers fell short against Perrys, ending the game at 2-5. Additionally, Deeney Fc managed to edge past Bonnies Men In Blue with a 5-3 victory.
The star of the division, however, was Hayden from FC Holcombe, who stole the show by scoring four goals, securing his spot as the top scorer in Division 2.
As the league moves into its third week, the competition is set to intensify. Fans are eagerly anticipating the next set of matches, hoping for more exciting football and spectacular individual performances.
