Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 2

The Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football League continued to heat up last night in its second week with intense matches in both Division 1 and Division 2.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Inter Yer Nan showed their prowess with a commanding 4-1 victory over Deeney Fc. The Inter Yer Nan team seemed unstoppable on the field, maintaining a solid lead throughout the game. On another pitch, Rochester Fc emerged victoriously against Bonnie's Men in Blue with an exhilarating 7-4 win. The Great Commission also added to their season tally with a tight 3-2 triumph over Medway 90.

Oliver Ott from Rochester Fc led the charge in Division 1, making his mark as the top scorer with an impressive four-goal haul. His stellar performance was one of the highlights of the week and significantly contributed to his team's win.

DIVISION TWO
Switching gears to Division 2, it was an equally thrilling week. Warren Wood Wanderers narrowly lost to Perrys with a 2-1 scoreline, while Radar Raiders outlasted Perrys Pastries in a high-scoring 7-4 showdown. Pain In Diaz FC rounded off the night with a solid 4-2 victory against Queens Park Strangers.

Kai McNeill was the standout performer in Division 2, netting four goals for Pain in Diaz FC. His scoring spree played a significant role in his team's win and earned him the top scorer spot for the week.

As we move into week three of the Chatham Thursday League, the competition is expected to get even fiercer as teams vie for top spots in their respective divisions. Keep an eye on this space for more updates.
