In the exciting week 3 of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football league, both Division 1 and Division 2 saw intense matches and exceptional performances from the players.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Medway 90 made a remarkable victory against Lads On Toure, scoring an impressive 6-2. It was a thrilling display of skill and team spirit. On the other hand, Lads On Toure showed their mettle despite the loss and promised a compelling performance in the upcoming weeks.
Inter Yer Nan continued their winning streak by defeating Radar Raiders 4-2. Both teams presented a strong defence, but Inter Yer Nan's superior tactics sealed the win. Rochester FC also had a grand win on the day, dominating Perrys Pastries with a whopping score of 7-2. Joe from Rochester FC was the star of Division 1, with his hat trick contributing significantly to the team's victory.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Deeney FC suffered a narrow defeat against Valhalla FC. The final score was a close 2-1, with both teams fighting hard until the final whistle. Bonnies Men In Blue managed to edge out Perrys with a slim 1-0 victory, keeping their record spotless for the week. The team has shown great potential and is expected to perform well in their upcoming matches.
However, the highlight of Division 2 was FC Holcombe's commanding victory over Warren Wood Wanderers, with a decisive score of 5-0. Kai McNeill of FC Holcombe was the top scorer, netting two goals and contributing substantially to the team's triumph.
The week's results have spurred the teams on, and anticipation is high for the forthcoming matches. With such high performances, the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football league continues to be a spectacle of skill and sportsmanship.
