In the third week of the Chatham Thursday Football League, a rush of excitement cascaded through the spectators as teams battled it out on the field, vying to secure their positions in the league tables.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the Radar Raiders outclassed Bonnies Men In Blue in an 11-0 thumping. The star of the show was none other than Daniel Bowes who, in an impressive onslaught, scored 4 goals for the Raiders, earning himself the top scorer accolade in Division 1 for the week. The Raiders' victory has sent a clear message to other teams in the division, setting the bar high for the coming weeks.
In another closely contested game, Medway 90 and Rochester Fc stood toe-to-toe, ending the game with a 4-4 draw. The third match saw Inter Yer Nan overcoming Double Pogba And Koke 6-4, adding more suspense to the league standings.
DIVISION TWO
Meanwhile, in Division 2, the battle was equally intense. Bendher Rovers Fc showed their dominance against Shades Of Skill with a resounding 11-0 victory. However, the spotlight was on Suraj from Deeney Fc who netted the ball 5 times, against Warren Wood Wanderers, despite their team's 7-5 defeat, making him the top scorer in Division 2.
Perrys also clinched a 2-0 victory over Lads On Toure, adding to the exhilaration of the week's matches.
