Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 5

In the exhilarating world of local football, Chatham Thursday's 5 a side season league saw high-octane action in its fifth week with numerous thrilling encounters.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the night was lit up by an intensely-fought match between Double Pogba And Koke and Bendher Rovers FC. In a tension-filled game that ended with a nail-biting 4-3 win for Bendher Rovers FC, fans on both sides were treated to a match that was both a testament to the competitive spirit of the teams and a showcase of raw talent.


In another match, Rochester FC, driven by the 4-goal performance of Oliver Ott, demolished Inter Yer Nan 9-3. Ott, who topped the Division 1 scoring charts this week, was in sublime form throughout the match, orchestrating Rochester FC’s attack with precision and scoring some truly memorable goals.


DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw Perrys battling against Saka Potatoes in a closely contested match that ended 5-4 in favor of the Saka Potatoes. Perrys' David Hall, despite the loss, was the standout performer, and his hat-trick saw him take the honours of being the top scorer for Division 2.


Another riveting clash was between Shades Of Skill and Mac 4, resulting in a thrilling 6-6 draw. Rice Spice, meanwhile, were left wanting against Medway 90, succumbing 6-2 in a match that saw Medway 90 dominate the game.


This week's games have thrown the league wide open, and it will be interesting to observe how teams regroup and strategize for the upcoming games. As the season progresses, fans can look forward to even more thrilling encounters.
