Football fever continued last night as week five of the Chatham Thursday five-a-side Football League showcased an array of exciting matches. Teams from Division 1 and Division 2 locked horns in a bid to climb the standings of this gripping league.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, FC Holcombe emerged triumphant in an 8 - 3 victory over NO BALL GAMES FC. The team displayed an outstanding performance, keeping the spectators on their toes throughout. Another match between Medway 90 and Rochester Fc ended in a thrilling draw, with each team scoring 3 goals. Radar Raiders and Deeney Fc also played an exhilarating match, which ended in a 5 - 5 draw.
Rochester Fc's striker, Joe, made the headlines by becoming the top scorer in Division 1. He managed to net an impressive three goals, demonstrating his striking prowess and helping his team secure crucial points in the league.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Bonnies Men In Blue won their match against Warren Wood Wanderers, finishing with a score of 4 - 2. Perrys Pastries also claimed a narrow victory against Inter Yer Nan, ending the match with a score of 4 - 3.
Harry Scott of Perrys Pastries stole the show in Division 2 by scoring an incredible three goals, earning him the title of the top scorer in the division. Harry's contribution was instrumental in securing his team's victory.
