Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 5

In an electrifying night of football, the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side league saw a flurry of goals and competitive encounters in both Division 1 and Division 2.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Medway 90 and Rochester FC produced an adrenaline-fueled clash that ended with both teams sharing the spoils in a 5-5 draw. Meanwhile, the league witnessed a nail-biting match between Radar Raiders and Perrys Pastries, with the former edging out a 5-4 victory, showcasing the competitive spirit of this division. The star of the show in Division 1 was undoubtedly Luke from Medway 90. His remarkable haul of 4 goals not only secured a vital point for his team but also put him at the top of the league's goal-scoring charts.


DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, the dynamics were no different. Perrys outclassed Valhalla FC with a resounding 6-1 victory, while FC Holcombe triumphed over Deeney FC, finishing the game at 4-2. Bonnies Men In Blue made a strong statement with an 11-3 rout of Warren Wood Wanderers. No player shone brighter than Ollie Smyth of Bonnies Men In Blue, who bagged an impressive total of 7 goals, making him the top scorer in Division 2 for the week.
