Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 6

In the thrilling world of local football, Chatham Thursday’s 5 a side Football league took an exciting turn in its 6th week of the season. Hundreds of football enthusiasts were on the edge of their seats as the teams battled it out in Division 1 and Division 2.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the game between Holcombe Legends and Radar Raiders was a nail-biting encounter with Radar Raiders emerging victorious by a margin of 6-4. Meanwhile, Inter Yer Nan delivered an overwhelming blow to Valhalla FC with a remarkable 9-1 triumph. Inter Yer Nan's stunning victory was largely due to the exceptional performance from Ashley Vann, who showcased his phenomenal talent by scoring a whopping five goals, making him the top scorer in Division 1.

DIVISION TWO
Moving over to Division 2, Rochester FC dominated the ground against Bonnie's Men in Blue with an impressive score of 7-1. The match between Lads On Toure and Perrys was a closely fought contest, with Perrys managing to edge past with a 5-4 victory. Meanwhile, Warren Wood Wanderers secured a 5-3 win over Deeney FC, showcasing their tactical superiority on the field.

Division 2 saw Leo from Lads on Toure rising to the challenge and becoming the top scorer with three goals to his name. His exceptional skill and sheer determination significantly contributed to his team's overall performance.

As we approach the end of week 6, spectators are eagerly awaiting the next round of matches. The competition is fierce and the camaraderie is high.
