Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 6

In the sixth week of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side football league, there were thrilling matches in both Division 1 and Division 2. Teams battled it out on the pitch with spectacular performances that lit up the night.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, powerhouse team Bendher Rovers FC secured a staggering 9 - 0 victory over the Radar Raiders. Their dominating performance was spearheaded by their superstar Frankie, who displayed exceptional skills and precision, leading the scoring tally with a total of three goals.

The game between Net6 N Chill and Rochester FC ended with a 7 - 1 scoreline in favor of Net6 N Chill. On another pitch, a closely fought game unfolded between Inter Yer Nan and Double Pogba And Koke, with the latter scraping by with a narrow 4 - 3 victory.

DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw its fair share of drama and action as Mac 4 emerged victorious against Perrys with a score of 5 - 2. The leading goal scorer, Jamie Heard from Mac 4, showed off his scoring prowess netting three goals. In another match up, Rice Spice triumphed over Saka Potatoes with a nail-biting 5 - 4 win. Meanwhile, Medway 90 and Shades Of Skill ended the night with a 2 - 2 draw, proving the competitiveness in Division 2.

The spotlight of the week, however, was on Jordi Hawks from Double Pogba And Koke. Displaying exceptional talent and sportsmanship, Jordi was named the Most Valued Player of the week. His contribution was instrumental in Double Pogba And Koke's narrow win over Inter Yer Nan.

As we move into week seven of the Chatham Thursday league, the teams will be looking to improve their standings in the respective divisions. With the top scorers and most valued players stepping up, it sure promises to be an exciting week ahead!
