Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 7

In an electrifying week 7 of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football League, both Division 1 and Division 2 witnessed intense matches and striking performances.


DIVISION ONE
In the Division 1 group, the clash-of-the-titans between Shades Of Skill and Rochester Fc ended in a dramatic 5-5 draw. Both teams demonstrated extraordinary talent, keeping spectators on their toes throughout the game.


However, the highlight of Division 1 was undoubtedly Steve of team Medway 90, who emerged as the week's top scorer with 3 goals, leading his team to a narrow 3-2 victory over Inter Yer Nan. Steve's impressive performance and goal-scoring prowess have been the talk of the league this week, earning him much-deserved recognition.


DIVISION TWO
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Rice Spice and Perrys also faced off in a thrilling contest, ending with a deadlock score of 4-4. Radar Raiders unfortunately fell to Warren Wood Wanderers, with a significant goal difference in the 2-7 defeat.


Stuart Taaffe of Rice Spice shone brightly in the Division 2 matches, clinching the title of top scorer for the week. He netted a remarkable total of 4 goals, which not only contributed to his team's strong performance but also placed him in the spotlight this week.
