Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 8

In the eighth week of the thrilling Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football league, teams from Division 1 and Division 2 battled it out on the pitch with some standout performances.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Net6 N Chill dominated the game against Rice Spice, delivering a stunning 15-0 victory. John Clarkson was the star of the night, netting four goals for his team, earning the title of the top scorer in Division 1 this week. Their victory showcases their tactical prowess and exceptional skill set, which they will no doubt carry into the last two weeks of the season.


Rochester Fc also had a successful run, defeating Radar Raiders 6-2, highlighting the competitive spirit and talent within Division 1.


DIVISION TWO
Over in Division 2, Bendher Rovers Fc triumphed over Double Pogba And Koke with a 5-2 win. Bendher Rovers Fc's own, Glen McWhinnie, was named the most valued player of the week, enhancing the team's victory. McWhinnie's performance on the pitch was a testament to his football acumen and skill.


Elsewhere, Medway 90 secured a dominant 9-1 victory over Saka Potatoes, reinforcing their position in the league. Meanwhile, Perrys edged out Elysium in a close game, ending with a 5-3 scoreline. Perrys' Dane Beard was the standout player, scoring two goals and earning the title of the top scorer for Division 2 this week.


There are only two weeks left in this season, and the competition is heating up. Teams are vying to secure their places for the next season, making every game a nail-biting experience for players and fans alike.
