The Chatham Thursday 5 a side Football League saw adrenaline-fueled action in Week 9 with intense matches and nail-biting finales.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the thrilling encounter between NO BALL GAMES FC and FC Holcombe ended in a slim victory for NO BALL GAMES FC with a scoreline of 3-2. Rochester FC was unable to hold their own against Medway 90, with an exciting finale of 6-4 in favour of Medway 90. Deeney FC, on the other hand, exhibited a dominating performance against Radar Raiders, ending the match with an impressive 5-1 victory.


The star of Division 1 was undoubtedly Luke of Medway 90, who had an incredible night on the field. Luke's hat-trick boosted his team's spirits and secured them a well-deserved triumph. His performance has undoubtedly put him in the spotlight and is a name to look out for in the coming weeks.


DIVISION TWO
Meanwhile, Division 2 provided its share of excitement. Warren Wood Wanderers gave a tough fight but were narrowly defeated by Bonnies Men In Blue, with a final score of 4-3. Inter Yer Nan outshone Perrys Pastries with a solid 5-2 win. The most high-scoring match of the night was between Pain in Diaz FC and Perrys, with Perrys emerging victorious at 7-4.


Ashley Vann of Inter Yer Nan proved his mettle in Division 2 as the top scorer. He delivered a smashing performance by scoring four pivotal goals, paving the way for their win against Perrys Pastries.


As the 5 a side Football League moves into Week 10, the anticipation and pressure continue to grow. Both divisions have demonstrated the high levels of skill and competitive spirit, making the rest of the season a must-watch for all football enthusiasts.
