Football fans were treated to a thrilling week of action in the Barnsley Sunday 6 a side Football league. The competition, now in its ninth week, saw stellar performances in the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4.
In the Premier League, Paris Ganjaman triumphed over Craggy FC with an impressive 9-0 victory. PGM also eked out a narrow 2-1 win over False Madrid while Pros and Cons routed Six Offenders 9-0.
Over in Division 1, Avon Alkmaar emerged victorious over AJAX TREES DOWN in a 5-2 clash. MAN TITTY FC secured a clean sheet against PREMIERS OLD BOYS with a 3-0 win, and Wayne And Windy edged past SPORTING LITBONG 3-2. Division 1 also witnessed a standout performance from JOE of AJAX TREES DOWN, who netted a total of two goals, taking the spot of top scorer in the division.
Division 2 saw Ben Dover defeat 2 In Pink One In Stink 2-1, Ball Handlers won 3-2 against Balotellitubbies and Who's Horse Is That clinched a 2-1 victory over Texas Oldham. The top scorer in this division was Matthew Collins of Who's Horse Is That, who managed to score one goal.
In Division 3, BOCA SENIORS and ROMASEXUALS shone with 6-3 and 6-2 victories over Kroos Control and REMY BOYZ respectively. Adam Perry from ROMASEXUALS was not only the top scorer for Division 3 with four goals but was also crowned the most valued player of the week.
Division 4 saw Multiple Scoregasms FC falling 0-5 to Neville Wears Prada, and NOT IN YOUR MUMS FOREST triumphing over OCCASIONALLY UNITED in a 4-1 victory.
