Last night bore witness to the thrilling conclusion of the Barnsley Sunday 6-a-side football league. It was the 10th and final week of the season, with teams from five divisions – the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and Division 4 – battling it out on the pitch.

In the Premier League, Paris Ganjaman emerged victorious with a score of 2 - 0 against Pros And Cons, finishing overall with a total of 17 points and 8 wins. Meanwhile, in Division 1, Avon Alkmaar came out on top with 15 points and 7 wins, despite suffering a narrow defeat to Premiers Old Boys in their final game.

On the Division 2 pitch, Texas Oldham triumphed, having accumulated 13 points and 6 wins over the season. Their final match saw them edge out Ball Handlers with a 1-0 victory. Division 3 was dominated by BOCA SENIORS, despite a draw in their final match against Cudeth Bad Bois. They clinched the division title with 16 points and 7 wins.

Finally, in Division 4, Neville Wears Prada were the undisputed champions, boasting an impressive 19 points and 9 wins, sealing the deal with a 5-0 demolition of Unfit FC in their last match.

All divisions had their fair share of high-scoring players, with Reece from AJAX TREES DOWN being Division 1's top scorer with 1 goal, and Ben from Who’s Horse Is That leading Division 2 with 2 goals. However, the standout player was Zach Martin from Gangsters Paradyche in Division 3, who scored an impressive 3 goals to become the week's most valued player.
