It was a week of high stakes, high scores and high energy in the High Wycombe Tuesday football league. The grassroots 6 a side league, now in its seventh week, saw a bevy of stirring performances and scintillating events that set the local footballing scene alight.

In Division 1, Serious 6s took the cake with a commanding 5-0 victory over LL FC 22, showing their class and determination. The flawless attacking performance by Serious 6s had the crowd on their feet, making them the team to watch out for in the upcoming weeks.

Smoothtuggaswomanlovers also made their mark with a 5-1 win over Salt And Pepper FC. Elsewhere, Priors Little Boys FC edged out The Briers Family 3-1 while Load Of Kaka managed a narrow 4-3 victory over Wester Than Ham in a thrilling match. Kiss My Pass also made their presence felt by defeating LL FC 5-0.

In Division 2, AC Wycombe showed their prowess with a decisive 5-1 victory over Joe Mumma. Koch In Dias also impressed, overcoming HWC Young Boys 2-4. Fill Her Wycombe and Reus Krispies battled it out in a rare goalless draw that saw both teams share the points. Meanwhile, FC Ryan Cheeks and AFC Terriers ended their encounter in a 1-1 tie, while The Bosh Barbarians managed to scrape a 2-0 win over Crown Town FC. Big Sean’s Newborns faced a 1-3 loss against Bell Ends FC, proving that every team in this division is a potential threat.

Although individual top scorers were not disclosed, it's clear that Serious 6s and AC Wycombe are the teams to beat in their respective divisions. As the league continues, fans can look forward to more nights of thrilling, high-quality football.
