As we come towards the business end of the season, it was a great night of football at Lichfield Leisure Leagues. All teams were in attendance with the exception of Wooley's Wanderers who return as normal from next week.
In the Premier League division, sparks flew as Pjanic At The Disco overpowered Surreal Madrid with a stunning 7-4 victory to draw level at the the top. An unbelievable performance from SHOW ME THE MANE as they managed to edge out Out On Bale with a score of 2-1 victory. inter Yanan took home the victory against Weasels with a 3-2 scoreline. Colonel Getafe remain two points from safety despite an impressive performance in a 2-2 draw with APFC
The Division 1 games were equally exciting. Slick Ricks Army managed a close 4-3 victory over Barely Athletic, while Yes Chef cooked up a storm against MK Dongs with a 5-2 victory. The tense game between Dog Inn FC and promotion hopefuls Exeter Gently ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
In Division 2, Law Abiding Sigurdssons put up a brave fight but lost to Murder On Zidanes Floor with a scoreline of 1-4. Noels Rejects triumphed over Inter MaVan with a 5-2 victory, while ICE PACK secured a narrow 1-0 win against Sutton Sounders. Last but not the least, Reus Krispies eked out a close 3-2 win against Thursday Club.
