It was an exciting final day of the season at Lichfield Leisure Leagues yesterday which saw drama across all of the divisions.

Starting off with the Premier League. Out on Bale were finally crowned our Champions registering 22 points and 9 victories after several close calls in recent seasons. A huge congratulations to all players involved! League runners up Pjanic At The Disco were outplayed by Inter Yanan who won 3-0. The match between SHOW ME THE MANE and APFC saw a goalless draw, while Weasels secured a 4-3 win over Colonel Getafe as they had their relegation confirmed, they'll be hoping for a immediate return next season.
Promotion was all to play for in Division 1 with 5 teams vying for the second promotion place, Pique Blinders ultimately secured premier league football for next season on goal difference despite a 2-1 defeat to Slick Ricks Army. Barely Athletic missed out on promotion despite beating MK Dongs with an impressive score line of 7-2, while Exeter Gently outclassed Wooleys Wanderers 6-1. After an intense season, Yes Chef triumphed as Division 1 champions, with a remarkable 27 points, earned from 13 victories.
Lastly, in Division 2, Law Abiding Sigurdssons lost 2-1 to Inter MaVan, while Murder On Zidanes Floor was defeated 2-0 by ICE PACK. Noels Rejects were edged out 2-1 by Thursday Club, and Sutton Sounders were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Reus Krispies. Reus Krispies wrapped up the season with a victory, claiming the title with a total of 21 points from 10 wins.
