It was a good round of fixtures at Lichfield Leisure leagues on Monday with all teams in attendance as scheduled with the exception of Pjanic at the Disco who return to competitive action next week
The Premier League fixtures ended in nail-biting fashion. Weasels and Inter Yanan played to a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, APFC showcased their defensive masterclass with a 2-0 victory over SHOW ME THE MANE. In the battled of newly promoted teams, Yes Chef outperformed Pique Blinders, winning 3-0, in what was undoubtedly the standout performance of the week. Yes Chef remain our early frontrunners.
In Division 1, the matches were no less exciting. MK Dongs produced a fantastic performance, marching to an 8-0 victory over Reus Krispies. Similarly, Exeter Gently triumphed with a 3-0 win against Colonel Getafe. Slick Ricks Army edged out a 1-0 victory against ICE PACK, and Barely Athletic showed their strength by beating Surreal Madrid 4-0 to continue their 100% record.
In Division 2, Murder On Zidanes Floor narrowly lost to Inter MaVan, with a 2-1 score. Finley Fiddler's strong performance earned them a 5-1 win against Law Abiding Sigurdssons. Inter Row Z beat Noels Rejects 4-1, and Thursday Club secured a 2-0 win over Sutton Sounders.
