Lichfield Weekly Round Up 16/12/2019

Merry Christmas Everyone! It was a lovely festive evening at King Eddies as we saw all teams in attendance. Thank you for your continued support and reliability throughout the whole year. We hope you all enjoy your Christmas break and we'll see all in the new year on  6th January 2020!!!

Premier Division

The Fountain's blistering form continued with an impressive 8-1 victory over Ice Pack. APFC edged an entertaining affair, coming out with a 2-1 victory over Nione FC. That win for APFC sees them pull two points clear of third placed Ayew ready. Colonel Getafe secured a comprehensive 5-0 victory over new boys Ayew Ready. Elsewhere, Show me the Mane came out with a narrow 1-0 victory against an unlucky SBFC. 

First Division

MK Dongs shocked third placed Too Jazzy FC with a fantastic 3-1 victory, will this defeat prove to be costly for Too Jazzy in their push for promotion? Southmill Soccer consolidated their position at the top of table with a comfortable 3-0 victory over their nearest rivals, Old Heads. Elsewhere, Leisure League debutants PJanic at the Disco got off to a winning start against Hitobihifromthbackk who were unfortunate not to get something from the game, PATD edging it 6-5. Elsewhere Only Fools & Scorers got back to winning ways with a comprehensive victory over GSA All Stars 10-2.
