MONDAY’S MATCH REPORT

It was a good evening of football at Lichfield Leisure Leagues on Monday. All teams were in attendance as scheduled with the exception of Colonel Getafe and Barely Athletic. Both teams will return as normal from next week.

In the Premier League, APFC launched a very late comeback to come out on top in a 3-2 thriller against title hopeful Interya Nan. Pjanic move up to 2nd place with a 3-1 win over Weasels and Show me the Mane eased their relegation worries with a 3-0 win over Surreal Madrid.

Over in Division 1, Slick Ricks and Wooleys Wanderers battled to a thrilling 3-3 draw. Exeter Gently picked up a much need 3-0 win over MK Dongs whilst Pique Blinders move in to second place with an impressive 5-0 win against Dog Inn FC

In Division 2, league leaders Ice Pack were held to a 1-1 against Thursday Club. Noel’s Rejects edged a closely fought contest with Busby Babes, 1-0. Sutton Sounders couldn’t find a winner against Murder on Zidanes Floor. Finally, it ended 2-2 between Reus Krispies and Intermavan
