Monday 10th September - Lichfield Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening of 6 a side football in Lichfield on Monday.  We were however disappointed to see a second consecutive non-attendance from Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole who have now been removed from the league as a result of this.   Old Heads cancelled their game and we thank them for notifying us, we look forward to seeing them return on Monday 17th September.

APFC maintain their place at the top of the Premier Division and extend their lead to 3 points.  This after a 3-1 win over J Monk. Colonel Getafe slipped up against Notinyamoms Forest who climb to third place, after also winning 3-1.

In Division One Ice Pack continue to lead the way, thanks in part to the late cancellation of their opponents, Old Heads, which gave them a 5-0 win.  Mark Bunn Dat got their job done though, disposing of fourth placed AFC Red in pretty ruthless fashion, the game ending 8-2.  Third placed Warded Stags were also lethal in front of goal, an 8-1 win over Barmyarmytage their reward for clinical finishing.
