Monday 30th September - Lichfield Round Up

Sometimes there's nothing better than playing football in the rain and that proved to be the case at King Eddies on Monday.

We start our round up in the Premier Division. The Fountain pulled ahead at the top of the league with a 3-1 victory over SBFC. Show me the Mane scored a comprehensive win over their nearest place team with a 3-0 win over Colonel Getafe.

In the first division, nothing could separate the top two as Byron Boyz and Ice pack played out a 1-1 draw. The draw for Ice Pack means that they can still be pipped to second place by Old Heads who are now just two points behind after their 2-1 victory over Only Fools & Scorers. 

Diet Coke Only FC and Tipball United served up a goal feast as Diet Coke came out 4-2 victors. Finally, Southmill Soccer made it two wins on the bounce with a 3-1 victory over MK Dongs.
