League champions crowned!

It took almost 10 months due to a global pandemic but we'd like to wish a huge congratulations to 5 Star Drillers who finally clinched their first league title on Tuesday evening!

As they headed into the evening of action, 5 Star knew they needed to win to clinch the league with Unathletico hoping to capitalise on any potential slip up.

Nothing could separate Clickheads and 5 Star gong into the final few minutes but two late goals helped them to get over the line to claim the Lichfield Leisure Leagues Championship!

Unathletico put 8 past Expected Toulouse to close the goal difference gap but 5 star made sure the job got done.

Both Fatburn Rovers and FC Jaka picked up points match victories. 

Congratulations to Kai Smith (5 Star) and Lee Satchwell (Clickheads) who who finished top goalscorers tied on 7 each.

It doesn't stop there, our new season starts October 20th! All Team Captains will be contacted on Friday with their fixtures for the new season.
